IDENTIFICATION

Name

The official name of the Board of Education shall be “The Board of Education of Northfield in the County of Atlantic.”

Purpose

The Board of Education exists for the purpose of providing a thorough and efficient system of free public education in grades Pre-K through 8 in the Northfield School District.

Composition

The Northfield School District is comprised of all the area within the municipal boundaries of Northfield.

Classification

The school district shall be classified as a Type II district.
