D. An individual who has resigned employment with the board and makes application for re-employment more than thirty (30) days after termination of employment may be re-hired, in the board’s discretion, as provided in Paragraphs A and B of this policy, however, no accrued sick leave or other benefits which may have been available to that individual at the time of termination of employment, and which the board has the authority to govern, shall be restored, and with regard to such benefits, the individual shall be treated as if that individual were not previously employed by the board;

E.
